Broadcaster and Sports Marketer Jim Host on WUKY's 'UK Perspectives'

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 9, 2015) — WUKY's "UK Perspectives" focuses on the people and programs of the University of Kentucky and is hosted by WUKY General Manager Tom Godell.  As WUKY approaches its 75th anniversary, Godell talks today to legendary broadcaster and sports marketer Jim Host who started his broadcasting career at WUKY (at that time WBKY) while a student at UK in the 1950s. Host recounts his early days at the station and offers his thoughts on the current status of UK football and basketball.
