LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 18, 2013) - The University of Kentucky Arts in Healthcare's "Tuesdays at Noon" series continues next week with a performance by singer and songwriter John Edmonds.

The event, part of a weekly collaboration between UK and the Kentucky Arts Council, will be from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, in the UK Chandler Hospital's Pavilion A Atrium Lobby.

Edmonds is a message singer at heart. This nationally and internationally acclaimed singer/pianist, celebrating 50 years of professional performing, has a repertoire that includes tunes such as "He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother," "I Believe I Can Fly," "I Believe In Music," " What The World Needs Now Is Love," and gospel standards such as "How Great Thou Art" and "Joshua."

Edmonds says, “I like to sing songs that convey a message of peace, hope, joy and love.”
