WUKY's 'UK Perspectives' Features First Scholars Program

LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 6, 2012) — WUKY's "UK Perspectives" focuses on the people and programs of the University of Kentucky and is hosted by WUKY General Manager Tom Godell.  Today's program highlights UK's First Scholars program, which helps address the unique challenges faced by students who are the first members of their families to attend college. "UK Perspectives" features an interview with Matthew Deffendall, director of first generation initiatives and Martina Martin, First Scholars coordinator.
