LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 20, 2013) -- Dr. Ardis Dee Hoven, University of Kentucky College of Medicine alumnus and retired physician and professor, took office in June 2013 as president of the American Medical Association (AMA), the nation’s largest physician organization.
