College of Arts and Sciences' Podcast Features Melynda Price

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 19, 2012) — The College of Arts and Sciences produces podcasts that demonstrate work being done by the faculty and students in the college. Each week, UKNow will highlight a podcast. This week focuses on Melynda Price, a professor in the College of Law.

In this podcast, Price discusses organizing the 18th annual Black Women's Conference, an event sponsored by the African American and Africana Studies Program.

The conference is titled, "Learning the Ropes: Black Girlhood, Identity, and the Power of Play," and will take place at the Lyric Theatre, as well as various UK campus locations.

The events will be free and open to the public.
