Scramble to Play Golf with Campus Colleagues

LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 18, 2010) – It's time to scramble if you want to play golf with your colleagues. Wednesday is the last day to register for the annual University of Kentucky Faculty/Staff Golf Scramble.

The UK Campus Recreation Department organizes this popular event each year for the campus community. This year's Faculty/Staff Golf Scramble's shotgun start is at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 27, on the Wildcat Course at the University Club. Entries are due by 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, in 177 Johnson Center.

Plaques and team pictures go to the first, second and third place finishers. Prizes also go to the Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin.

Meals and range balls are included in the entry fee – $50 per individual or $200 per team. Each team must have at least two UK faculty or staff members. Note that no metal spikes are allowed on the course.
