Nominations Now Open For Staff Interested in Running for Representative to UK Board of Trustees

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 4, 2019) — Nominations are now open for University of Kentucky staff members interested in running for the position of staff representative to the UK Board of Trustees.

The staff representative is elected for a three-year term, July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2022. To be eligible to run and serve as staff representative to the Board of Trustees, one must be a regular, full-time, 1.0 FTE staff member with no relatives working at UK and have served for at least one year of continuous employment at the university.

Nominations will be accepted until 6 p.m. Thursday, April 18. Campaigning will take place May 6-24. Voting will be conducted May 10-24. The announcement of election results will be posted June 3.
