LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 19, 2017) — Is someone else’s junk your idea of treasure? Wonder what kind of tchotchkes artists have in their homes? Y’all here’s your chance to find out! Stop by 16 homes and workspaces of Lexington’s most creative types as part of the University of Kentucky Art Museum and Robbie Morgan’s citywide Y’Art Sale 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23. The sale will go on, rain or shine.
Participants in this first Y’Art Sale will include notable artists, educators and patrons around Lexington. The sale will feature the more traditional to unusual yard sale items: furniture, collectibles, appliances, bric-a-brac, electronics, kid's items and fashion, alongside original works of art, art supplies, etc.
“We love the idea of art enthusiasts and bargain hunters driving around town, engaging with creative individuals and finding things they just can’t live without,” Morgan said.
