Boone Center Grill Now Open
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 20, 2017) — The Boone Center Grill (the BCG) is now open for the 2017 summer season. Housed on the terrace at the Hilary J. Boone Center, the BCG is open to the entire University of Kentucky campus community. Membership is not required.
New this year is the BCG Rewards Card. Ask a server for a BCG Rewards Card and get it stamped each time an entrée item is ordered. After the purchase of six BCG entrées, turn in the BCG Rewards Card with the six stamps, and the seventh entrée is free.
Students, faculty and staff can enjoy chef-driven favorites on the terrace under umbrella tables or pick up an order to go. The BCG offers “fresh foods fast,” including a local beef burger and meats that are free of antibiotics, GMOs (genetically modified organisms) and nitrates/nitrites. The menu offers an array of selections, including the BCG Burger, Grilled Local Vegetable Wrap, Crispy Fish Tacos, Fried Green Tomato BLT, Baby Kale and Quinoa Salad, local beers, and more. Prices range from $6 to $9.
The BCG is open 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday through Friday, and accepts cash, card, check and the Plus account.
