College of Arts and Sciences' Podcast Features a Perspective on the Supreme Court

LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 2, 2012) — The College of Arts and Sciences produces podcasts that demonstrate work being done by the faculty and students in the college. Each week, UKNow will highlight a podcast. This week focuses on Justin Wedeking.

Wedeking, a professor in the Department of Political Science, studies dynamics within the courtroom, from the process behind Supreme Court decisions to the usefulness of confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominees. Wedeking is also researching whether televising court proceedings can affect the legitimacy of decisions.
