Disability Resource Center Now Accepting Adelstein Award Nominations

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 14, 2017) — The University of Kentucky Disability Resource Center (DRC) is now accepting nominations for the Carol S. Adelstein Award. The Adelstein Award honors an outstanding UK student with a disability.

Nominees may be full or part-time students and are expected to excel in one or more of the following areas: 

• academic achievement;
• leadership;
• extracurricular activities; and/or
• social and/or personal qualities.

Nominations should include the student’s name and a letter of support describing how the student has exhibited behavior in line with the award qualification.

The deadline for nominations is Monday, March 20, 2017. Nominations should be emailed to dtbeach1@uky.edu or mailed to:
