Fun in the Park: A Good Time for All

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 14, 2009) − The University of Kentucky Cultural Diversity Festival Committee and Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government will co-sponsor "Fun in the Park," a celebration of community, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, in Woodland Park.

The event will bring together UK students, faculty and staff with the Lexington community for a day of fun at Woodland Park. There will be live performances by UK students and staff performing international dances and music as well as a free throw contest. The entire community is invited to enjoy some corn hole games and frisbee as well as free food from UK Catering.  Local vendors will also attend the event providing the opportunity to explore the businesses in the Woodland Triangle.
