Fun in the Park Lives Up to Its Name

LEXINGTON. Ky. (April 8, 2010) – The second annual Fun in the Park, a community-wide celebration of diversity, is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 10, in Woodland Park.

Co-sponsored by the University of Kentucky 2010 Cultural Diversity Festival Committee and Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, the event will bring UK students, faculty and staff together with the Lexington community for a day of free food and fun at Woodland Park.

There will be international music and dance performed by UK students and staff along with games of corn hole and frisbee as well as free food from UK Catering Services.

Fun in the Park is free and open to the public.
