Golden Wildcat Reunion Slated Oct. 5-8 for 1967 Graduates

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 5, 2017) — The UK class of 1967 will return to campus for the annual Golden Wildcat Reunion Oct. 5-8 during Homecoming weekend.  

The festivities begin on Thursday, Oct. 5, with the Golden Wildcat Society Reunion Welcome Reception 5-7 p.m., at The Campbell House Lexington Paddock Room.

On Friday, Oct. 8, the Golden Wildcat Society induction breakfast is 8-10 a.m., at Kroger Field, followed by racing and lunch at the Keeneland Phoenix Room noon-5 p.m.

From 5-9 p.m., there will be a Homecoming celebration at the William T. Young Library. Also Friday, UK Opera Theatre will perform "La Traviata" at 7:30 p.m., at the Singletary Center for the Arts, and the UK volleyball team will take on University of Alabama. Time for the volleyball game will be set at a later date.

On Saturday, Oct. 7, the UK Alumni Association Homecoming Brunch is at 9:30 a.m., at King Alumni House, located at 400 Rose St. A campus bus tour departing from King Alumni House begins at 11 a.m. The UK Alumni Association Homecoming Tailgate Tent Party begins two and half hours prior to the game against University of Missouri at Kroger Field.

A farewell breakfast will be 8-10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, at The Campbell House Lexington.
