Healthy Restart FAQs Answered Aug. 27 for UK Faculty, Staff and Students

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 27, 2020) — With University of Kentucky now offering in-session classes again, the university continues to field questions related to specific elements of the campus restart plan. Below are a few of the questions most commonly asked by university faculty and staff.

Q: How can I make sure I receive mobile text reminders to take my daily screening?

A: If you are not receiving text reminders, you can update your contact information in myUK. Information Technology Services has step-by-step instructions on how to update your contact information.

Q: Can I opt out of the daily health screening if I’m on vacation or other leave?

A: Yes, you may opt out and then opt back in by completing this survey.

Q: Who can I see if I’m having anxiety or other concerns?

A: Therapists with UK's Work+Life Connections employee counseling are available for free, confidential appointments via phone or Zoom.
