New support tool available during benefits open enrollment
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 30, 2025) — This year’s benefits open enrollment period is available now through May 16. This is the annual opportunity for University of Kentucky employees to select their health, dental, vision and other insurance plans for the fiscal year beginning July 1.
Employees with a flexible spending account for health care or dependent care must re-enroll to continue contributing to those accounts after July 1.
A new tool is available to support employees in choosing their plans. Employees can access Nayya Choose to answer a few quick questions and even pull in their own health claims data from the past year to see which health and other insurance plans might be the best fit for them and their families. All information entered is confidential and is not shared with anyone at the university.
Employees should use their linkblue@uky.edu email address to access Nayya.
After receiving a recommendation from Nayya, employees must still use myUK to enroll in their plans. Videos are available with step-by-step instructions on how to enroll in myUK Employee Self Service.

As the state’s flagship, land-grant institution, the University of Kentucky exists to advance the Commonwealth. We do that by preparing the next generation of leaders — placing students at the heart of everything we do — and transforming the lives of Kentuckians through education, research and creative work, service and health care. We pride ourselves on being a catalyst for breakthroughs and a force for healing, a place where ingenuity unfolds. It's all made possible by our people — visionaries, disruptors and pioneers — who make up 200 academic programs, a $476.5 million research and development enterprise and a world-class medical center, all on one campus.
