North Campus Parking Impact Slated for April 13

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 12, 2018) On Friday, April 13, the University of Kentucky will be hosting three events in the north campus area – the Jewish Studies Symposium, the College of Engineering Hall of Distinction Induction into the Profession Ceremony, and a workshop at the Career Center – which will impact parking availability.

The Career Center Lot will be unavailable for employee (E) parking on Friday, April 13; the lot has 23 E spaces. A portion of the Linden Walk Lot - 75 spaces - will also be impacted, as will 50 spaces in the College View Lot. A total of 148 spaces will be impacted by the event parking needs.

Employees who typically park in these areas may opt to park in other intermediate E lots in the north campus area, which include the Coliseum Lot, the High Street Lot, the King Alumni Lot, the South Limestone Garage or the Reynolds, Scott Street, Taylor-Dickey or Comers Lots.

Employees who park in other north campus lots should anticipate possible increases in demand for parking in their preferred area, familiarize themselves with alternative parking options and plan their commute accordingly.
