Qualtrics Single Sign-On Implemented for UK Customers

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 6, 2017) —  University of Kentucky Information Technology Services (ITS) and the IT Service Desk have announced that Qualtrics is now accessible via single sign-on (SSO) through the UK Qualtrics portal. This change means that survey creators can now log into Qualtrics using their linkblue credentials instead of having to maintain a separate username and password. It also streamlines the account creation process for new customers, allowing them to create a fully licensed account in one step.

Switching to SSO allows survey creators to ask respondents to authenticate with their linkblue IDs prior to taking a survey. This new, optional survey feature can also collect respondents' linkblue ID as a response identifier – allowing for improved data management and analysis. This new feature also aids in the logistics of data collection, reducing the need to use unique links for some surveys.

"It is our hope that automated account creation, a streamlined login process and added survey functionality will both benefit existing customers, and increase use of this incredibly valuable tool across the university community."
