Students Organize Thanksgivin' Fixin' Food Drive

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 2, 2017) The University of Kentucky's STAT (Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow) and TEAM WILDCAT, in cooperation with God’s Pantry, are teaming up for a Thanksgiving food drive. The groups need the UK and Lexington communities' help in putting together and donating food boxes.

The students are helping provide a meal for those less fortunate in the Lexington community by preparing a Thanksgivin’ Fixin’ box, with the following items:

  • one box of stuffing mix;
  • one box of mashed potatoes;
  • one box of macaroni and cheese;
  • one can of green beans;
  • one can of corn; and
  • one can of cranberry sauce.

All boxes must be delivered to 400 Rose St., King Alumni House, Lexington, before 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21.
