Students Sign On to Support UK at ESPN GameDay

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 12, 2010) – UK Students have created made-for-TV masterpieces in hopes that their signs will capture the attention of the cameras. 

Students braved the bitter cold to gather at the King Alumni House Wednesday evening during the UK Alumni Association's ESPN College GameDay Poster Painting Night. 

They created signs to hold up during the ESPN Game Day broadcast Saturday at Rupp Arena when UK hopes to be the first school in the history of College GameDay to "pack the house" and completely fill the arena for the show.
