UK Alumni Association Announces Homecoming Events

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 12, 2018) — A tailgate buffet, Homecoming brunch, a tour of campus and the Class of 1968 Golden Wildcat Reunion highlight the UK Alumni Association events for Homecoming 2018 "Rhythm & Blues: Wildcats in Tune."

Sunday, Oct. 14

• Dance Blue 5K, 2 p.m., at Kroger Field, 1540 University Drive. Runners can sign up here.

Monday, Oct. 15

• Homecoming Street Fair, 5-8 p.m., in the Gatton Student Center parking lot, located at 160 Avenue of Champions.

Tuesday, Oct. 16

• Kitty Karnival, 5-7 p.m., on the Main Building Front Lawn, 410 Administrative Drive.

Wednesday, Oct. 17

• Royalty Showcase, 7-9 p.m., in the Gatton Student Center Ballroom.
• Black Student Union alumni versus student basketball game, 8:30 p.m., at the Seaton Center Gymnasium, at 1210 University Drive.

Thursday, Oct. 18

• Golden Wildcat Reunion registration, noon-5 p.m., at The Campbell House Lexington, located at 1375 S. Broadway. Register at www.ukalumni.net/golden.
• Golden Wildcat Early Bird Campus Tour, 3-4:30 p.m., leaving from The Campbell House Lexington.
• Golden Wildcat Society Reunion Welcome Reception, 5-7 p.m., at The Campbell House Lexington.
• Mr. and Ms. Black UK Pageant, 6:30 p.m., at Memorial Hall, at 610 S. Limestone.

Friday, Oct. 19

• Golden Wildcat Reunion Breakfast and Induction Ceremony, 8-10 a.m., in the Woodford Reserve Club at Kroger Field.

Saturday, Oct. 20

• UK Alumni Association Homecoming Brunch, 9:30 a.m., at King Alumni House, at 400 Rose St.
• Campus bus tour hosted by the UK Alumni Association, 11 a.m., departs and returns to the King Alumni House.
• UK Alumni Association Homecoming Tailgate Tent Party, 5 p.m., Tobacco Center Research and Development Center Lawn, at 1401 University Drive.
• Kentucky vs. Vanderbilt University Homecoming football game, 7:30 p.m.

Sunday, Oct. 21

• Golden Wildcat Reunion farewell breakfast, 8-10 a.m., at The Campbell House Lexington.
