UK Alumni Association Hosting Member Appreciation Week Feb. 21-25

Starting Feb. 21, all UK Alumni Association Members, Life Members and Active Members will be able to download a UK campus art print. The print features "Bowman," the Wildcat sculpture in Wildcat Alumni Plaza.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 18, 2022) — The University of Kentucky Alumni Association will honor its members during Member Appreciation Week Feb. 21-25, held in conjunction with UK Founders Day on Feb. 22.

Starting Monday, Feb. 21, all Members (those who have completed at least 12 credit hours at UK), Life Members and Active Members will be able to download a UK campus art print. The print features "Bowman," the Wildcat sculpture in Wildcat Alumni Plaza.

Members can also register for the UK Baseball Fun Pack Sweepstakes. This includes four club-level tickets with access to the Lexus Lounge at the UK baseball game vs. Auburn at Kentucky Proud Park on Saturday, May 21. The winner will also receive a Yeti tailgate cooler packed full of UK swag. Members can register for the sweepstakes online and earn additional entries by checking their email and following the UK Alumni Association on social media. The winner will be announced at the end of Member Appreciation Week on Feb. 25.

Monday, Feb. 21, is Discount Day. Enjoy a 20% discount on all UK apparel and accessories from the UK Bookstore, in store and online all week. Members should check their email to receive the promotional code and for more information. 

Tuesday, Feb. 22, is UK Founders Day. To celebrate, the UK Alumni Association will host the inaugural Founders Day Festival at the Gatton Student Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The campus community is invited to attend and celebrate UK’s 157th birthday. The festival will include games, prizes, giveaways and music. More information here.

On Wednesday, Feb. 23, Life and Active Members can spin the Wildcat Wheel O’ Fun, a virtual prize wheel, for a chance to win UK swag. More information will be emailed to those who are eligible.

On Thursday, Feb. 24, Life and Active Members of the UK Alumni Association will have a chance to complete the Wildcat Word Search Challenge for a chance to win an LG 32-inch LED smart TV provided by Pieratts. Those eligible to participate will receive more information via email.

On Friday, Feb. 25, the winner of the UK Baseball Fun Pack Sweepstakes will be announced through the UK Alumni Association’s social media platforms. Be sure to follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to see who wins.
