UK housing innovation continues to garner national headlines

LEXINGTON, KY. (Jan. 16, 2012) -- The University of Kentucky's partnership with a private developer to completely revitalize its student housing is once again in the national headlines.
This month, a column by UK President Eli Capilouto appears in University Business, a national higher education publication: http://www.universitybusiness.com/article/residential-partner.
The column discusses the continued importance of residential higher education, even as there is increased national interest in on-line learning. Capilouto discusses how both on-line learning and residential living are important ingredients in producing graduates who can compete -- and succeed -- in a 21st century, global economy.
