UK Human Resources services now available in new locations

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 7, 2024) — To support the university’s continued growth, University of Kentucky Human Resources services have moved to new locations. UK HR is committed to meeting customers in locations that are most convenient for them.  

HR will continue to maintain an on-campus location to provide in-person HR services at Mandrell Hall, located at 635 South Limestone. 

In-person services available at Mandrell Hall include: 

  • Employee benefits questions, such as enrolling, insurance options, referral to well-being services and adding or removing family members from coverage; 
  • Employee education assistance; 
  • HR system access to help with employee applications, benefits enrollment, performance evaluations and other online processes; 
  • HR policy questions and support; 
  • Employee records request submission and disbursement; 
  • I-9 forms and new hire paperwork; 
  • Student employment consultation; 
  • Family Medical Leave consultation; 
  • Workers compensation, light duty assignment and long-term disability consultation; and
  • Employee Relations consultation.

In addition to on-campus support at Mandrell Hall, HR will also occupy some off-campus locations as well. 

STEPS Temporary Employment has moved to B-175 at Southcreek Park, 2365 Harrodsburg Road. At this location, the HR team can meet with prospective STEPS employees by appointment in a convenient location with ample parking. 

New employees also have an off-campus option for completing their I-9 form on or before their first day of employment. New employees must make an appointment to complete their I-9 form. Supervisors can provide new hires with this link to schedule their appointment. 

New employees can visit 2317 Alumni Park Plaza, easily accessible off New Circle Road. This office offers first floor accessibility and ample parking. I-9 forms can also be completed on campus at 204 Mandrell Hall, which has more limited parking.  

In-person HR Health and Wellness services will be available by appointment in new locations as well: 

  • Mental health counseling: Breckinridge Hall on campus 
  • Nutrition consultation: Breckinridge Hall on campus or A-250 Southcreek Park, 2365 Harrodsburg Road 
  • Health coaching: Breckinridge Hall on campus or A-250 Southcreek Park, 2365 Harrodsburg Road 
  • Exercise consultations will continue to be available at MoveWell at Seaton Center or MoveWell at Export Street
