UK Parent and Family Association to Host Spring Family Reunion at Keeneland
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 15, 2017) — The University of Kentucky’s second Spring Family Reunion hosted by the Parent and Family Association will be held at Keeneland, Saturday, April 8, 2017.
A pre-race tent party will take place by The Hill from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. The tent party will feature local Kentucky cuisine, games, prizes, a best hat competition, and a family gift from the Parent and Family Association.
The Spring Family Reunion will be an opportunity for UK families around the country to meet one another and take part in a cherished Bluegrass tradition.
“Keeneland is a great place to bring the family together to celebrate local Kentucky traditions,” said Nicki Jenkins, assistant director of New Student and Family Programs.
Tickets for the event are available online at http://bit.ly/2017UKReunion. Tickets are $40 for Parent and Family Association members, $45 for non-members. Pricing includes admission to the pre-race tent party, exclusive shuttle service to the racecourse from the tent party, and reserved sections of grandstand seating for the Keeneland races.
