UK’s Plus Account rebranded as CatCash, offering additional features
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 3, 2023) — As part the University of Kentucky’s Auxiliary Services’ ongoing commitment to provide exceptional customer service to our campus community, the UK Plus Account program has undergone a transformation and will feature expanded functionality for its users. CatCash — the newly named program — is more than just a rebrand or name change; it is an enhancement to the overall campus experience for UK students, faculty and staff.
CatCash is an exclusive debit program seamlessly integrated with the WildCard ID. While the former UK Plus Account offered a convenient way for students and employees to purchase food, merchandise, copying and printing at various locations both on and off campus, CatCash can still be used to purchase these items and much more.
To elevate the user experience, CatCash funds can now be used to order food from a wide range of dining options via Grubhub and pay for prescription medicines at the UK Apothecary in the Gatton Student Center. Tobacco products and alcohol cannot be purchased using CatCash. Funds automatically carry forward from semester to semester and year to year and only expire after five years of nonuse, enabling participants to maintain their funds after graduation or leaving the university.

- Online. Click "Quick Deposit" on the menu bar at the top of this page ($20 minimum deposit, $2 convenience fee).
- Or in-person at the following locations during regular business hours:
- The CatCash Office in A150 Student Center and
- Student Account Services in 18 Funkhouser Building.
The transition from Plus Account to CatCash is seamless for existing account holders. Your account details remain unchanged.
