UK Women’s Forum announces spring Employee Educational Assistance Awards
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 9, 2024) — The University of Kentucky Women's Forum has named the recipients of the 2024 spring semester Employee Educational Assistance Awards (EEAA).
The Women’s Forum Employee Educational Assistance Award compliments UK’s existing tuition waiver program, the Employee Education Program (EEP). Recipients receive $250 to assist with the cost of books and/or other materials, supplies and fees related to their UK coursework.
The Spring 2024 recipients are:

- Laura Schwarz, College of Public Health
- Kara Klein, Martin School of Public Policy & Administration
- Cristin Costello, Martin School of Public Policy & Administration
- Cally Nixon, College of Social Work
- Nadia Henry, College of Health Sciences
- Ashley Peter, College of Education
- Maranda Brooks, College of Education
- Alyssa Jones, College of Fine Arts
- Tasha Huber, Martin School of Public Policy & Administration
- Ashley Hardin, College of Public Health
Employees can only receive this award once per academic year. Those who applied and were not selected are encouraged to consider applying again for the 2024 fall semester.
