Adelstein Award Honors Students With Disabilities

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 23, 2016) — Nominations are now being accepted for the 2016 Carol S. Adelstein Outstanding Student Award. The deadline to nominate is 5 p.m. Monday, March 21.

The award is presented annually to the student with a disability who best serves as an inspiration to the UK community through excellence in any or all of the following areas: academic achievement, leadership, extracurricular activities, and social and/or personal qualities.

Nominees may be full or part-time students. Nominations should include the student's name and a letter of support addressing their qualifications to be considered for the award.

Nominations should be mailed to the Disability Research Center, Multidisciplinary Science Building, Suite 407 or emailed to dtbeac1@uky.edu.
