UK Dining Recognizes Faculty and Staff With Appreciation Meal

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 11, 2016) — University of Kentucky Dining is extending its gratitude toward the university's faculty and staff. On Tuesday, Jan. 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., UK Dining is offering faculty and staff an all-you-care-to-eat lunch at a special rate of $6 at Blazer Dining and the Fresh Food Company at The 90.

Faculty and staff may present their UK ID as proof of their status. Faculty and staff are encouraged to visit the “Let’s Eat” info table at Blazer and Fresh Food Company during their visit, to find out more about signing up for a faculty and staff dining plan, including the new payroll deduction option.

UK Dining offers faculty and staff the opportunity to save money through a variety of meal options and access to 26 dining venues and convenience stores on campus.

The three faculty and staff dining plans include:

·      The 20 Block Plan, which includes 20 all-you-care-to-eat meals at Blazer and Fresh Food Company for $110, at $5.50 each. Any extra meals roll over to the next semester and do not expire. Meals can also be used to treat a guest and as Wildcat Deals. This plan offers the most amount of food for the money. To purchase this dining plan click here.

·      The 10 Block Plan, which includes 10 all-you-care-to-eat meals at Blazer and Fresh Food Company for $110 ($6.00 each) and $50 flex to spend at the 26 UK Dining locations. The meals and flex dollars for faculty/staff do not expire and will roll over. Meals can also be used to treat a guest and as Wildcat Deals. To purchase this dining plan click here.

·      The All Flex Dollar Plan, which includes $200 flex for $170, a savings of 15 percent. Flex can be used at the 26 UK Dining locations. The flex dollars for faculty/staff do not expire and will roll over. To purchase this plan click here.

Blazer Dining is located on north campus in Blazer Hall; the Fresh Food Company is located on Hilltop Avenue in The 90. These two all-you-care-to-eat dining locations feature numerous interactive and dynamic food stations that offer a variety of choices, such as omelets, grilled options, pizza, pasta, deli selections, vegetables, a salad bar, desserts, and more. Each station has its own theme and offers a mix of traditional foods as well as on-trend selections.
