Create the Next Traditions T

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 12, 2012) — All University of Kentucky students can submit a design for the Traditions T contest, sponsored by the UK Alumni Association. Currently enrolled UK students may submit designs through March 23. The student who creates the winning design will receive a $500 cash prize and five shirts to give to friends or family.

The Traditions T Selection Committee will determine up to five finalists in late March and students will be able to vote on the winning design in April and May. The winning design will be unveiled at the beginning of the fall semester.

The Traditions T was established in 2007 to unite the UK student body in celebrating what it means to be a Wildcat. Artwork is student-designed, and UK students vote each spring semester to determine the winning design. All UK students, alumni and the general public will be able to purchase the 2012-13 Traditions T at the UK Bookstore or the UK Team Shop, including at UK home football games during the next academic year.
