1st Forum in Dean of UK College of Education Search Takes Place Today

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 15, 2019) — The first of three campus forums, part of a national search for the next dean of the University of Kentucky College of Education, will take place from 5-6 p.m. today, in the Taylor Education Building Auditorium.

As part of this search process, the search committee, which is dedicated to finding a qualified and visionary leader, has selected three finalists for the position. Throughout the next two weeks, these individuals will visit campus, participate in open forums and meet with constituent groups in the UK community. 

The first candidate’s curriculum vitae is available on the search website, where names and CVs for all candidates will be posted 24 hours in advance of their forums. UK community members will be able to provide anonymous feedback through the search website.

The full schedule of candidate visits is below:

  • Candidate A: 5-6 p.m. Monday, April 15, in the Taylor Education Building Auditorium;
  • Candidate B: 5-6 p.m. Monday, April 22, in the Taylor Education Building Auditorium; and
  • Candidate C: 5-6 p.m. Thursday, April 25, in Woodward Hall, Gatton College Building.
