Making It as Easy as Possible to be Safe
LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 29, 2020) — University of Kentucky President Eli Capilouto sent an email message to the UK community on Tuesday, July 28. Please see below and watch the video above.
The university recently announced plans to test up to 30,000 students in preparation for the start of the fall semester, August 17.
In this video, we discuss how our campus community is working every day to make it as easy as possible to be safe.
In addition to testing, UK is also preparing for the following:
- Screening and contact tracing
- Providing personal protective equipment for all students, faculty and staff
- Deep cleaning of classrooms and other spaces and reconfiguration of instructional spaces to accommodate physical distancing
