UK Hoops Wins Senior Night Thriller Over Arkansas
A'dia Mathies made a layup with 4.4 seconds left to give No. 20 Kentucky a 55-54 win over Arkansas on Thursday night. Mathies held the ball at the top of the key during Kentucky's final possession. She drove and hit a contested shot from the left side to give the Wildcats their first lead in over 12 minutes. C'eira Ricketts got off one last shot for Arkansas from about 35 feet but missed it to the right. Mathies finished with 17 points and nine rebounds for Kentucky (21-7, 10-5 Southeastern Conference).
