Kroger Field COVID Testing Moves to College Way, Impacts Parking

College Way will temporarily shift to one-way northbound traffic from Alumni Drive to Sports Center Drive.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 20 , 2021) — Beginning Monday, Aug. 23, College Way will temporarily shift to one-way northbound traffic from Alumni Drive to the Sports Center Drive three-way stop at the Green Lot entry.

The College Way East Lot on the University of Kentucky campus will host the community COVID-19 testing, as it relocates from its current location at the Kroger Field Blue Lot. Testing will be available from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, with the exception of home football game days.

Campus Green Route bus service will be modified to avoid College Way (see attached map). In addition, the College Way East Lot will not be available for periphery (K) permit holder parking. Periphery permit holders can park in the Red, Blue and Commonwealth Drive lots as well as the College Way West and Wildcat Court lots.

As the state’s flagship, land-grant institution, the University of Kentucky exists to advance the Commonwealth. We do that by preparing the next generation of leaders — placing students at the heart of everything we do — and transforming the lives of Kentuckians through education, research and creative work, service and health care. We pride ourselves on being a catalyst for breakthroughs and a force for healing, a place where ingenuity unfolds. It's all made possible by our people — visionaries, disruptors and pioneers — who make up 200 academic programs, a $476.5 million research and development enterprise and a world-class medical center, all on one campus.
