UK Hoops Downs No. 12 Notre Dame 81-76
Victoria Dunlap scored 24 points and redshirt freshman guard Bernisha Pinkett had a career-high 17 points as No. 9 Kentucky beat No. 12 Notre Dame 81-76 on Sunday. Keyla Snowden added 17 points for the Wildcats (3-0), who have won 20 straight games at Memorial Coliseum. Natalie Novosel led the Irish (2-2) with 21 points and Skylar Diggins had 18 points, but Notre Dame couldn't overcome 17 turnovers. The Wildcats took control with a 19-2 run in the first half, eventually building a 12-point lead. The Irish pulled within one possession on several occasions in the second half, but Snowden or Dunlap would hit a basket to keep the Wildcats in front.
