UK Hoops Prevails 84-71 Over Miami
A'dia Mathies and Victoria Dunlap each scored 16 points and No. 9 Kentucky's withering press forced 28 turnovers in an 84-71 win over Miami of Ohio on Sunday. Maegan Conwright scored 15 points and Samantha Drake added 13 before leaving with an apparent left knee injury as Kentucky (2-0) overcame a 2-for-15 shooting day from behind the arc. Maggie Boyer scored 19 points to lead the RedHawks in their opener. Both teams displayed some early season rust, combining for 45 turnovers and 65 personal fouls, which led to 84 free throws.
