UK class plans this weekend's Lexington Christmas Parade
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 2, 2022) — The Downtown Lexington Partnership (DLP) annual Christmas parade will be held on Main Street at 11 a.m. on Dec. 3.
“We are so excited to enjoy a crisp morning downtown for this family-friendly opportunity to get Lexington into the holiday spirit,” said Laura Farnsworth, interim executive director of DLP. “The DLP and the University of Kentucky integrated strategic communication (ISC) students can’t wait to show everyone how hard we have been working the past four months.”
Students in the ISC event planning class have been working hand in hand with DLP for the past four months to plan and organize efforts to make this year's parade the best it can be.

The Downtown Lexington Partnership (DLP) is the non-profit Downtown organization formed in 2017 to provide a single point of contact and accountability and a coordinated approach to downtown revitalization and management.
