Basketball fans invited to Champions Classic pregame party in Atlanta
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 29, 2024) — University of Kentucky alumni and friends headed to this year’s State Farm Champions Classic on Nov. 12, are invited to the official pregame party at Hudson Grille Downtown in Atlanta (120 Marietta St. NW) before the Wildcats face the Duke Blue Devils at State Farm Arena. Pregame festivities begin at 3:30 p.m. ET, with the doubleheader tipping off at 6:30 p.m. ET. Kansas will take on Michigan State, followed by Kentucky vs. Duke at approximately 9 p.m. ET.
Hosted by the UK Alumni Association and the Greater Atlanta UK Alumni Club, along with several campus partners — Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment; Stanley and Karen Pigman College of Engineering; J. David Rosenberg College of Law; and the College of Medicine — the event at Hudson Grille is conveniently located a few steps away from State Farm Arena.
The event will feature former UK players, special guests and book signing by Jack “Goose” Givens. Admission is $30 per person, with children 12 and under free, and includes a full game day buffet. Books are available for prepurchase for $38 each.
