LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 29, 2025) — This weekend, as Kentucky Football kicks off its season against Toledo, Wildcat fans will see more than their team on the screen.
During game coverage, the university will debut its new 30-second institutional spot, voiced by UK Men’s Basketball Coach Mark Pope.
His unifying voice demonstrates the power of bringing Kentuckians from across the state together to serve the people of the Commonwealth.
From helping residents of Southeastern Kentucky clean up in the aftermath of tornadoes, to expanding access to the most advanced care with UK HealthCare partners in Northeastern Kentucky, to working with farmers in Western Kentucky on innovative agricultural solutions — this TV spot offers a glimpse of the University of Kentucky’s impact across our state.
