LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 1, 2025) — As the holidays start to gear up, the University of Kentucky is all about harping on the festivities and fun. Here is a list of some upcoming holiday events:

  • Visit Hudson, the UK Police Department's community canine 
    • Dec. 2 | 1 p.m. | Counseling Center
    • Spend some time with Hudson, UKPD’s community canine.
  • Holiday Bingo
    • Dec. 3 | 5 p.m. | Cats Den
    • Get in the holiday spirit by playing holiday bingo. Themed prizes will be awarded to the winners of each round.
  • Snow Better Time for Mocktails
    • Dec. 8 | 3:30 p.m. | Learning Bar at the Hilary J. Boone Center
    • Welcome the winter season with some mocktails and friends.
  • Prep Week: Grab N Go
    • Dec. 9 | 9 a.m. | Gatton Student Center
    • Enjoy free donuts, holiday treats, coffee and juice during Prep Week.
  • Holiday Horns!
    • Dec. 9 | 6:30 p.m. | Singletary Center
    • Connect with others in the community and play holiday tunes in a horn choir.
  • BAJA’s Jazzy Christmas XXI
    • Dec. 9 | 7:30 p.m. | Singletary Recital Hall
    • A jazz concert open to all.
  • SOA Cinema Series: “Elf”
    • Dec. 11 | 6 p.m. | Worsham Cinema
    • Spread holiday cheer by watching the holiday classic movie, “Elf.” There will be holiday themed snacks while supplies last.
