LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 20, 2026) DanceBlue, the University of Kentucky’s student-led organization benefiting pediatric oncology and hematology patients, has announced a new partnership with Grimaldi’s Pizzeria that will provide recurring fundraising opportunities throughout the year.

Beginning Jan. 19, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria will donate a portion of proceeds from all-day sales on the first and third Monday of every month to support DanceBlue’s mission.

This partnership will serve as a Spirit Point opportunity for UK students, encouraging students to participate in DanceBlue to support families and children affected by pediatric cancer.

DanceBlue leadership is excited about the long-term nature of the partnership.

“Through this, DanceBlue has been able to work with Grimaldi’s at a high level, which is encouraging to see that the organization as a whole is so generous with the communities they operate in,” said Morgan David, DanceBlue marketing chair. “We’re so grateful that the Lexington Grimaldi's cares so deeply about our cause and excited to see what the future brings.”

Grimaldi's Pizzeria is also looking forward to collaborating with the student organization.

“I'm really looking forward to this. I think we will make a great team and make a big difference,” said Chris Lambert, general manager of Grimaldi’s Pizzeria.

Grimaldi’s Pizzeria has previously supported DanceBlue through mini marathons, restaurant nights and other fundraising initiatives. The DanceBlue community looks forward to continuing and strengthening this meaningful partnership.

DanceBlue is a completely student-run philanthropy at the University of Kentucky dedicated to supporting the DanceBlue Hematology/Oncology Clinic at Golisano Children’s at UK. Inspired by Jarrett Mynear’s final request to “do something to help the Clinic,” DanceBlue raises funds and awareness year-round in the fight against pediatric cancer, providing care and support for patients and their families. More than $20 million has been raised since 2006, making DanceBlue one of the largest student-run philanthropies in the Southeastern Conference. As the state’s flagship, land-grant institution, the University of Kentucky exists to advance the Commonwealth. We do that by preparing the next generation of leaders — placing students at the heart of everything we do — and transforming the lives of Kentuckians through education, research and creative work, service and health care. We pride ourselves on being a catalyst for breakthroughs and a force for healing, a place where ingenuity unfolds. It's all made possible by our people — visionaries, disruptors and pioneers — who make up 200 academic programs, a $476.5 million research and development enterprise and a world-class medical center, all on one campus.
