LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 16, 2018) — Coach John Calipari's radio show takes place weekly, but on Jan. 17 the show will be hosted on campus and open to students for the first time.
At 6 p.m., John Calipari will discuss past and upcoming games with co-host Tom Leach in the brand new dining facility Champions Kitchen. The pair will be taking questions from the audience as well as chatting with Kentucky's Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles.
At 7 p.m., coaches Matthew Mitchell and Nick Mingione will join Darren Headrick to discuss the women’s basketball team and upcoming baseball season.
The first 350 students who arrive with a valid UK student ID between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., will receive free admission to Champions Kitchen for a free, all-you-can-eat dinner. Prizes will be given away throughout the evening.
The "John Calipari Show" is presented by Paul Miller Ford and hosted at Champions Kitchen by Kentucky Proud. UK Dining and UK Campus Housing are hosting the event on campus.
