Evans, Hairston Finalists for Arthur Ashe Sports Scholar Award
Kentucky student-athletes Kastine Evans, a senior women's basketball guard, and Dorian Hairston, a sophomore baseball outfielder, have been named finalists for the Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar Award, chosen from more than 600 minority student-athletes nominated, it was announced on Thursday by Diverse: Issues in Higher Education magazine.
