DanceBlue Dance Party Set for UK Employees

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 13, 2018) — In preparation for DanceBlue 2018, University of Kentucky staff and faculty are making final arrangements for the third annual Staff and Faculty DanceBlue Dance Party.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, at the Boone Center. In addition to the Boone Center location, a satellite Dance Party will be held at 2317 Alumni Park Plaza, at the corner of Alumni and New Circle.

"We are so excited to have the participants from the medical center and other south campus locations again this year as they were able to raise over $2,500 for DanceBlue last year," said William Andrews, Staff and Faculty DanceBlue Dance Party chair. (Previously, the event was called the Staff and Faculty DanceBlue Mini-Marathon.)

There are a few ways to participate:

  1. Buy a T-shirt to support the Staff and Faculty DanceBlue Dance Party
  2. Participate as a dancer or an observer — enjoy fun dancing and free food
    • $10 entry fee for all participants and observers

Funds can be brought on the day of the event or can be donated through the website at https://danceblue.networkforgood.com/projects/43008-danceblue-golden-matrix-fund-dance-teams-faculty-and-staff-mini-marathon
