Employees To Be Honored at Homecoming Event

LEXINGTON (Oct. 15, 2009) – The University of Kentucky Alumni Association honors and invites UK's off-the-field stars – its faculty and staff – to take part in its annual Homecoming Staff Celebration.

At the free event, UK employees can enjoy a complimentary Papa John's lunch, take part in fun and games (including a cash cube), and meet the UK mascot. In the spirit of the homecoming theme, "Viva Lex Vegas," a magician will be on hand to entertain. The first 50 in attendance will receive a free UK T-shirt.

The UK Homecoming Staff Celebration is scheduled 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at the King Alumni House on the corner of Rose and Euclid.
