Everyone Needs an Estate Plan, Learn How to Set Up Yours

LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 6, 2019) — University of Kentucky employees can take advantage of two upcoming workshops to learn more about estate planning. 

It’s a common myth that estate planning is only for the very wealthy, but everyone needs a good estate plan to ensure your wishes will be carried out. 

Representatives from MetLife and MassMutual will present two workshops on: 

• Setting and prioritizing your goals. 
• What today’s estate tax landscape means for you. 
• How to avoid common mistakes people make with their estates. 

Both workshops will take place in the UK Athletics Auditorium in the William T. Young Library: 

• 10-11:30 a.m., May 6; and
• 9-10 a.m., May 8.
