Gain Important Tools for Effective Work-life Management

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 8, 2020) — In our ever-changing work environment, now is the time to prioritize self-care and mental health as integral components of work-life management. To help all University of Kentucky faculty and staff maintain their well-being this fall, UK Human Resources Work-Life created "Work-Life ROCKS," a virtual series which embraces well-being, perspectives, awareness, connections and balance.  Work-Life ROCKS highlights five qualities which are integral parts of successful work-life management:

  • Resilience
  • Optimism
  • Compassion
  • Knowledge
  • Self-Care

Certified therapists and specialists will present this six-part Zoom series on Mondays from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. this fall. Sessions will feature a diverse range of themes:
