Transcript Avenue Intermediate Employee Parking Lot Now Available

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 1, 2018) — The Transcript Avenue Lot is now open with a total of 55 intermediate employee parking spaces. Located on Transcript Avenue just west of Press Avenue and Elizabeth Street, the Transcript Avenue Lot is within close proximity to the University of Kentucky HealthCare campus.

As a part of UK Transportation Services’ summer construction efforts, the Transcript Avenue Lot was paved to provide an improved user experience and enable a more efficient use of space.

Previously, the lot was designated as a temporary E27 core employee lot while the Press Avenue North Lot was under construction as part of the Research Building 2 project. However, E27 parking returned to the Press Avenue North Lot, following its reopening earlier this summer, and the Transcript Avenue Lot has now been designated as an intermediate employee lot.

UK Transportation Services continues to seek ways to better serve permit holders and add additional parking when possible.
