UK Faculty, Students Invited to Submit Abstracts for Chemical and Biological Defense Science & Technology Conference

UK faculty, as well as undergraduate, graduate, doctoral or postdoctoral students may submit abstracts for consideration.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 30, 2017) — University of Kentucky faculty and students studying chemical and biological defense sciences and technologies are invited to submit abstracts for the 2017 Chemical and Biological Defense Science & Technology (CBD S&T) Conference.

Hosted by the U.S. Department of Defense’s Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), the conference will be held Nov. 28-30, 2017, in Long Beach, California. Abstracts must be submitted no later than Friday, June 9.

UK faculty, as well as undergraduate, graduate, doctoral or postdoctoral students may submit abstracts for consideration to present their innovative ideas for the next generation of chem/bio defense science and technology. Presentations must focus on basic and applied research conducted in specific chemical and biological defense areas, which are listed on the conference website.

Selected presenters will share their research with more than 1,500 scientists, researchers, program managers and leaders from the chem/bio defense community. Those interested can visit the CBD S&T Conference website for submission instructions and topics.
