DanceBlue launched the DanceBluetique Online Store on Aug. 21.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 25, 2020)  DanceBlue launched the DanceBluetique Online Store on Friday, Aug. 21. This online outlet hosts select DanceBlue merchandise, including new releases such as "For The Kids" face masks.

Unlike past campus pop-up shops, the DanceBluetique Online Store acts as an accessible channel for every DanceBlue participant, from alumnus to donor to dancer. In addition to new releases, the DanceBluetique Online Store will include vintage and discontinued merchandise items.

The store will operate by the Student Involvement Box Office. At danceblue.org, DanceBlue supporters are able to view a tutorial of purchasing through the tTicket office, as well as high quality photos of each merchandise item. Through the UKY Ticket Office, multiple pieces of merchandise can be purchased at once.

In addition to online purchasing, DanceBlue will offer multiple shipping and pick-up options following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s low-contact guidelines. Purchases can either be shipped or picked up in the DanceBlue office in the Gatton Student Center each Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pick-up orders must be picked up within two Fridays of purchase.

New merchandise items will continuously be revealed via the DanceBlue Instagram, @uk_danceblue. All purchases made in the DanceBluetique Online Store support DanceBlue’s efforts while following guidelines to do our part in keeping campus safe.

DanceBlue is the University of Kentucky's 24-hour, no sitting, no sleeping dance marathon that benefits the Golden Matrix Fund. Now in its 16th year, DanceBlue has raised more than $15 million "For The Kids." The DanceBlue Kentucky Children’s Hospital Hematology/Oncology Clinic opened a brand new facility in 2017 after a complete renovation funded solely from DanceBlue.

As the state’s flagship, land-grant institution, the University of Kentucky exists to advance the Commonwealth. We do that by preparing the next generation of leaders — placing students at the heart of everything we do — and transforming the lives of Kentuckians through education, research and creative work, service and health care. We pride ourselves on being a catalyst for breakthroughs and a force for healing, a place where ingenuity unfolds. It's all made possible by our people — visionaries, disruptors and pioneers — who make up 200 academic programs, a $476.5 million research and development enterprise and a world-class medical center, all on one campus.

In 2022, UK was ranked by Forbes as one of the “Best Employers for New Grads” and named a “Diversity Champion” by INSIGHT into Diversity, a testament to our commitment to advance Kentucky and create a community of belonging for everyone. While our mission looks different in many ways than it did in 1865, the vision of service to our Commonwealth and the world remains the same. We are the University for Kentucky.
